My speech

Hi recently we have been doing our speech's and I was talking about cats I hope you enjoy it!!! Speech Writing Intro: Hi today I will be talking about cats, cats are really good pets have you ever had a cat before well if you have or had one you might already know some of these facts. Cats are similar to dogs they like staying in a dark place where nobody sees them and relax after that they always like to have food then need someone to play with it. Cats are hard to take care of when they just give birth to kittens they need lots of attention and when you want to own a kitten or a cat as a pet, kittens grow very fast they start to open their eyes when they are 3 weeks old and they start growing teeth when they are around 4 months old. There is 73 different breeds around the world and they have such a large family that has 36 different species and is called Felidae. Cats can live for long and some can’t because it depends where the cats or kittens live how long a cat lives for 4-5 years when they live in the wild but cats that is kept inside can reach up to an amazing age of 17 years old, did you know that cats can give birth to 4-5 babies they may eat one of their baby’s but it is normal for cats to do that. Most cats are already mature by the time they are 18 months old, did you know that cats are responsible for extincting 33 different species of birds and there are 600 million cats around the world that's a lot isn't it. Did you know that every single year 2.7 million cats and dogs get killed because there isn’t that much space in their shelter, did you know that a group of cats are called a clowder. There are different names for the female cats and the male cats, male cats are called tom and female are called molly or a queen, cats conserve energy for sleeping around 14-15 hours per day.
